I read a lot of reviews, most people love it, and I noticed a lot of people said it would stop recording after a few minutes. The angle of the field of view is too narrow, when interacting with a member of the public i had to be facing them straight on in order to record them.It cost $79.But one week in, so far it’s all good for me — especially for the price.First, the videos produced are clear and sharp at almost all distances.), I am happy with the camera.narrow field of vision, about 65mm lens respectively to 35mm SLR cameras 2.For less than $50 I’ve got a relatively easy to use way to document my commute each day by employing it as a dash-cam.Let me preface this by saying if you are looking to shoot a movie with this, go somewhere else.I was expecting a plastic camera that recorded pathetic video — what I received was a solid metal-armored tank of video recording goodness. Here’s my review. The video is 640X480 and the audio is a bit garbled especially when things get loud.Recording is easy, installation of the software is easy and so is downloading footage. The video quality is acceptable, as is the audio.well built, solid as a rock. But just 10 days ago another customer put a video with his review — be sure to watch it.Everything worked well without issue except for the very poor and hard to follow or fathom instructions on the setting of the Date & Time Stamp. It has two buttons, one on either side, that say VOX and POWER.PROS: It’s extremely small…think a thick, heavy lipstick tube with a clip on it.Wife bought me this because over the last 15 years I have had a few close calls while walking the dogs when some moron with aggressive dogs running loose came after mine.
No fancy bells and whistles. The camera definitely seems rugged enough, my 8 year old son has taken tons of videos, has dropped the thing on the carpet numerous times, straps it to his toy cars which he then crashes, etc etc, and it stills works just fine.To cut to the chase, I don’t recommend it for motorcycle riding. After using it for a few weeks, all I can say is WOW! I work nights and the MUVI has absolutely no problems in low light conditions. It appears to be well built.I’m not sure if this is normal for this camera, but it makes it completely unusable. It records video very well, especially with a class 10 card.I had looked at several cameras that were over $200 which was really more than we wanted to spend.video quality good .The limited frame cut off the top of his head.I come across so many people in a day and usually not during their finest moments.Finding the “sweet spot” on my uniform is challenging.Setup and use of the camcorder is quick and easy.Normally I can restore life to the most jacked up devices. For its size of the lens, and microphone vs the price, this is a good camera that will satisfy any Police, Security or any person who has to deal with customers or people who are combative both verbally and physically .It’s not an Action Sports Camera. It holds a little over and hour and a half on the supplied 2g micro. For its size, the MUVI Micro’s video is great and audio is “do-able” for a semi-disposable camcorder. It ships with an instruction manual in 9 languages but purposely omits a customer service number in all 91 pages.
It serves that purpose decently but with a lot of room for improvement. As well, about half of my videos tend to be corrupt.Pros: VERY compact Easy to use Nice image quality Feels solid Variety of available accessoriesCons: Sound quality Inability to turn audio recording on/offI bought this device to use as an inexpensive dash cam in my vehicle.2009.We were wondering who was entering our offices and snooping after hours so an employee and I strategically placed them inconspicuously.if I could give it 10 star I would but it only goes up to five, so five stars for the Veho Muvi Pro Camcorder, Thank you Amazon….Don’t expect the video to rival a small camcorder or digital camera.I just wanted a little camera that I could activate when I wanted to capture something, and use in other settings when I’m not driving.I am impressed, so will start with the negatives but lead to the benefits. But aside from the delicate way in which one has to handle the cam, the new batch released by Vevo has many out of the box issues now.)Before mounting the cam I played with the cam.I bought the sports package which has more mounting options but did not really help for my application.Other than the Cons listed below, it only accepted the first battery charge.I also purchased the accessory pack and mounted it to my motorcycle front turn signal for great videos while out riding.Only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because it’s not movie-theater, DVD-movie quality, but it is very good.+ Audio is understandable.Others have reviewed the cam and have commented on the audio capabilities of it.I’m not sure if it’s a result of vibrations from the prop, or the codec, or the cmos lens or a combination, but it happened in two separate videos. However, my device did come in a package that was taped up so I assume it had been returned. Both audio and video skip every once and a while, but again, for the price, no big deal.
